Description: UNI SCPS is a student run organization that allows all students to build teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. As well as expanding their hands-on experience and understanding of broadcast and cable industries. For example, students shall gain these skills through creating packages, capturing video, making graphics, preparing scripts, and operating studio equipment to ultimately produce content aired on the UNI Cable Network. Through membership, students will become acquainted with professional development for their career and other aspects that are not taught in the classroom. The UNI SCPS seeks to benefit the University of Northern Iowa by offering all members of the student body an opportunity to take part in producing content that may increase exposure for their cause or respective organizations.
